My husband Jim and I started k9Strolls in our living room in the Spring of 2009 with walking just a few dogs. Over the past few years, our business grew through word-of-mouth as client after client spoke about value of our one-on-one relationship with each pup. Our few founding clients supported this because they recognized a positive change in the behavior of their furry family members and with the help from them, k9strolls Shop & Play opened its doors to a new generation of clients in the Fall of 2012.
We respect and value our clients as well as believe in the benefits of small business. We have taken time to source amazing products and accessories made with in the United States, specifically the New England area. Some of our products come from local bakeries and artisans. We are thrilled to be a part of the South End community as we provide support to the local shops. This increases our ability to offer local products from other small business owners on top of continuing our services to the pups of the South End - and beyond!
We strive to keep our families happy by making sure that their furry family members are taken care of at the daycare as well as their homes. Puppies that are part of the daycare find their second home in the Play Room of k9Strolls, where they safely play with other members of their pack. In this safe, playful and productive environment, our puppies learn a lot through play, discipline, and even from each other. For the past four years, we have been here to provide and maintain an environment in which your dog can socialize to develop the skills necessary for their growth and well-being.
For every new puppy, we have a personality test to make sure that they will have a safe and positive experience with other members of k9Strolls. We take time to introduce the puppy to their potential new family at the daycare. As owners we take pride in being heavily involved in the interview process before your puppy becomes a k9Strolls family members.
We also offer walking services to those furry friends that would prefer a one-on-one walk and play time. These services can be arranged via email or in person by visiting the shop.
We hope that you consider our services as we are always looking to grow our family!
Cheers Dan and Jim.
“Daniel personally spent time with my dog before deciding she was a good fit for the playgroups. His screening process assured me that my dog is in good hands."

“I feel good knowing that my dog is getting very personal and loving attention, great exercise, and critical socialization during the day. She has become a better dog and a better big sister to our baby because of k9strolls."
